About Kelsie:

Kelsie Young was born and raised in Wyoming. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wyoming. She received her master’s degree in counseling from Walden University in 2019, with an emphasis on military families and culture. She then completed a certificate program in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education through the University of Michigan.

Kelsie specializes in adult individual and relationship therapy.

Before joining the team at High Country, Kelsie gained experience in hospital, private practice, and community mental health settings. Kelsie utilizes a person-centered approach, helping empower her clients to work collaboratively in their treatment. Providing skills and tools to use during treatment and throughout their lives. Each individual client guides their treatment focus to meet their own needs. Kelsie recognizes that no two individuals' treatment is the same and will work with her clients to determine individual needs and goals.

In her spare time, Kelsie stays busy with her two children and her pets; most often, you can find her reading or in the summer in her garden.
