About Julie:

Julie has been certified as a Peer Support Specialist since 2020. Her motto is HOPE, Help, Other, Peers, Excel. She offers community resources and education to support the client’s and therapist’s agreed treatment plan. She is a woman in long-term recovery, offering experience, understanding, and a listening heart to those struggling with behavioral challenges.

She is a student at Casper College in the Addiction Studies program and seeks to use evidence-based care to create a trauma-informed and safe space for clients to be supported in their recovery journeys.

Her goals are reflected in SAMHA's definition of recovery “A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.” SAMHSA’s Working Definition of Recovery, 2024, pg. 2.
