The Board of Directors consists of community members who have an interest in the well being of their fellow community members and wish to donate of their time, talents, and energies. The Board seeks to understand the needs within their individual communities and give input to work towards helping High Country Behavioral Health know of, and meet the needs of the communities.
The Board has members from each of the communities where High Country Behavioral Health resides ie. North Lincoln County, South Lincoln County, Sublette County and Uinta County. Each community generally has 3 representatives which make up a board for the agency as a whole. There is a board President which presides at Board Meetings as well as a VP and sub committee’s made up of board members and possibly other community members.
Board members need not have any special skills, education or even be in a related field. They need only have an interest in the helping, treating, and changing the lives of individuals for the better and so bettering the community as a whole. Board members generally serve for 3 years but often have an option to serve for more terms.
The board meets one time a month for a few hours unless needed more frequently. Please contact us at (307) 885-9883 if you are interested in being a board member as we are always looking for new additions, ideas, views and energy.
