Gabrielle has enjoyed working with a diverse clientele including marginalized communities (LGBT). Gabrielle’s areas of treatment include, but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief, self esteem issues, relationship/marital problems (conflict resolution), substance abuse, family discord including step/remarried family issues, parent/child conflicts (at-risk adolescents), and children with behavioral and emotional issues. Gabrielle’s style is interactive, warm, receptive, and practical. She also provides a supportive environment for change, growth, and healing to occur.

Leah Black joined the High Country team in August 2009. Prior to moving to Star Valley, Leah had been working for Children and Family Services in Washington State. She has also worked with adolescents in a residential treatment center, worked as a parent trainer, and assisted disabled clients while working at the Oregon Commission for the Blind. Leah enjoys working with a wide variety of clients. Her areas of practice include, but are not limited to, marital counseling, working with adolescents, and working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and many other mental health illnesses. She is available to see clients at Star Valley High School, HCBH Alpine office or HCBH main office in Afton.
Ann Sanderson
Business Manager
Ann has worked for HCBH since 1991. She is currently the Business Manager.
Ann and her husband raised their 3 boys in Lincoln County and they are proud grandparents of 13 grandchildren. Ann is involved in community groups and enjoys her association with people.

Kelly began working at High Country Counseling in May of 2007. Kelly was raised in Star Valley and graduated from SVHS in 1997. After graduation she relocated to Pocatello, Idaho and attended Idaho State University obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.
Kelly is happy to be back in Lincoln County and enjoys hunting and fishing with her three sons and husband as well as spending time with her family and friends.
